NHL Countdown

The teams have been named, the game plans sorted, and now there are only a few days until the 2010 NHL starts.

First round action takes place in Hamilton on Saturday the 11th of September, with our Bayleys Midlands Men and Women both playing North Harbour (games start at midday).  Entry is by gold coin donation, and if you wear orange, we'll put you in the prize draw.

Game day entertainment starts at 10.30am with the top players from Hamilton Boys High School, St Pauls Collegiate, Waikato Diocesan, St Peters and Hillcrest forming two mixed teams to play some fast and entertaining hockey in the curtainraiser!!

  NHL 2010 kicks off on Saturday 11 September and our teams have got a massive programme between now and then.  Here's their schedule of warm up games ...

NHL 2010

The trial series to select the Bayleys Men's and Bayleys Women's teams for the 2010 NHL will be a feast of fast and skillful hockey.  Come along and watch our regions best hockey players compete for places in this year's teams:

Friday 18 June 2010 at the Gallagher Hockey Centre, Hamilton.   Games start at 6.30pm
Friday 25 June 2010 at Blake Park, Mt Maunganui.   Games start at 6.45pm
