Midlands Madness 2008 - Check out all the photos from the day in our gallery!
The first Midlands Madness 7 a side tournament was a resounding success. We are happy to report that a generous amount of money was raised for our Midlands U21 teams. This will go towards team costs as they prepare to travel to Christchurch for the national tournament in May.
It was a true day of Madness that saw Artificial Jeff, This is SPARTA, No fork en chance and Team Fun finishing as winners of their pools.
The event was held at ABN AMRO Craigs St Pauls Hockey Centre. A special thanks to

Thanks to Suresh and
, we were all able to enjoy a BBQ throughout the day. As hunger set in a hot snarler on white bread with some good'ole ‘T’ sauce was just what was required. The day of Midlands Madness came to a close with the selection of the first ever Midlands Madness tournament team. A consistently high level of madness saw the selection of:
1. Ross Harland – No fork en chance
2. Erin Cave – This is SPARTA
3. Joel Pirini – Scrubs
4. Karla Johl – Team Fun
5. Alex Quinn – Mix
